Alexander Wenz joins Verso Capital

Alexander Wenz has joined Verso Capital as an Investment Director, effective November 1st, 2025 and will lead Verso deal activities in Germany and the DACH region.

Alexander brings over 10 years of professional experience in private equity and strategy consulting. He joins Verso from Beyond Capital Partners, a German lower mid-cap private equity investor, where he played a central role in the execution of more than 12 acquisitions, including 6 platform investments, 6 add-on share deals, and several asset deals. He has primarily focused on asset-light B2B business models across the DACH region.

Alexander began his private equity career at Triton Partners, a leading Swedish private equity fund. There, he contributed to several B2B investment assessments, including the acquisition of a global leading provider of reusable trays.

Alexander started his professional career in strategy consulting at L.E.K. Consulting, working across the Munich, Paris, and London offices. He advised corporate and private equity clients on more than 15 buy- and sell-side transactions.

He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Finance from EBS University, an MSc in Economics from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Management from EBS University, which included a semester abroad in the United States.

Alexander is based in Frankfurt.
