Creating a new Nordic leader in Building Management Systems and Fire & Safety: Teira
Following the previously announced agreement between Verso Capital and Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, Schneider’s Fire & Security (F&S) direct business and parts of its Building Management Systems (BMS) direct business in Finland, Norway and Sweden, will become a new independent company named Teira.
Helsinki, Finland – 10 November 2025 – Verso Capital, a Nordic private equity firm specialized in carve-out investments, has entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire Schneider Electric’s Fire & Security (F&S) direct business and parts of its Building Management Systems (BMS) direct business in Finland, Norway and Sweden, following the previously announced agreement between the two companies.
The newly formed independent company will operate under the brand name Teira.
As an independent company, Teira will emerge as a leading Nordic system integrator for Fire & Security and Building Management Systems, delivering comprehensive solutions across the entire building lifecycle – from design and installation to service and modernization. Teira will employ over 530+ highly skilled professionals across Finland, Norway, and Sweden, serving more than 7.500 customers with a strong local presence, deep technical expertise and decision-making close to customers.
Teira will become one of Schneider Electric’s largest EcoXpert™ partners in Europe, ensuring continuity in customer relationships and seamless access to Schneider Electric’s technologies, platforms and innovation.

The closing of the transaction is expected in Q1 2026 and is subject to customary regulatory approvals. Neither Schneider Electric nor Verso Capital will comment on the financial details of the intended transaction.
